Karisma Kapoor to star with Helen for upcoming web series: Reports

Karisma Kapoor hasn’t appeared on the big screen in a long time, her charm and elegance are still enough to make anybody fall in love with her. The actress returned to the screens in 2020 with Ekta Kapoor’s web show, Mentalhood, which marked her digital debut and also starred Sanjay Suri, Sandhya Mridul, Shilpa Shukla, and Shruti Seth.

Now, the Dil To Pagal Hai actress is all set to star in yet another web show. Not just that, the show will also feature veteran actor Helen with Karisma. Meanwhile, this marks Helen’s comeback to the Bollywood after 2012 movie, Heroine, which featured Karisma’s sister Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead.

Reportedly, Karisma’s web show will begin shooting in the second week of April, and is set to be directed by Delhi Belly director Abhinay Deo. It’s a yet-untitled drama series.

According to a report in the Times Of India, Karisma and Helen’s web series was supported to go on the floor last year in 2021, however, due to the Omicron breakout it got pushed. After which, Karisma had also detected the COVID-19 recently. The director also had to put the shooting on hold after his father recently Ramesh Deo passed away.

The report further states that Karisma and Helen’s web show is ready to go on floors and the production schedule is also being finalised. However, an official announcement about the series is yet to be made.
