Kartik Aaryan opens up on his working experience in Bollywood
In a conversation with The Indian Express, Kartik Aaryan shared his experience in Bollywood, “Meri bhi opportunities kayi baar aise gayi hai jahan pe mujhe aisa laga ki (I have also lost opportunities where I thought) maybe I should have gotten the opportunity rather than someone who is from the family or whatever.”
Despite his experiences, Kartik emphasized that he has come to terms with this reality. He remarked, “It’s not their fault. I have made my peace with it. If I had been born in that family, the same would have happened to me too.” This reflection highlights his understanding of the industry’s dynamics and the systemic advantages that star kids may have.
Kartik enjoyed a successful year in 2024, marked by both critical acclaim and commercial success. He made his mark in Kabir Khan’s Chandu Champion, where he portrayed Paralympic champion Murlikant Petkar. Although the film underperformed at the box office, his performance received praise.
Kartik’s recent projects
His latest release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, became a massive hit, grossing nearly ₹400 crore during its Diwali release. It surpassed the multi-starrer action film Singham Again, which debuted on the same day. Looking ahead, Kartik is set to star in Aashiqui 3. It was announced in 2023, though reports indicate that the film may be delayed.
