Kartik Aaryan and Anurag Basu’s Aashiqui 3 to hit floors next year, deets inside

It has nearly been a year since Kartik Aaryan announced to be a part of the much-awaited sequel of Aashiqui. The SatyaPrem Ki Katha actor is joining hands with Anurag Basu for Aashiqui 3 and the netizens are eagerly awaiting the upcoming film. Ever since the announcement made its way, there have been news and updates of big names of actresses being considered to be the leading lady. Now, there is a fresh new update on the shooting of the film.

Aashiqui 3 to hit floors in January

After much await, there has been a recent update on the shooting of the film. In an interview with India Today, Bhushan Kumar said that Aashiqui 3 will hit the floors in January. He said, “Hopefully, we will start Anurag Basu and Kartik Aaryan’s film by the end of January.”

He further added that the film is under pre-production and the team is working on the musical composition.

Speaking of the leading lady for Aashiqui 3, Akanksha Sharma was being considered to play the role. As per a report by ETimes, “Akanksha has had multiple meetings with the makers of the film and there is a possibility that things might get locked. Akansha is a fresh new face and makers of Aashiqui have always looked out for fresh pairings; be it Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal or Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor.”

Kartik Aaryan upcoming films

Kartik Aaryan was recently seen in SatyaPrem Ki Katha alongside Kiara Advani. The film left the audience mighty impressed with the story and acting skills of the duo. Now, Kartik is shooting for his upcoming film Chandu Champion. Apart from this, he also has Aashiqui 3 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in the pipeline.
