Kartik Aaryan BREAKS silence on viral photos with Sara Ali Khan as they spark reconciliation rumours

Actors Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan were said to be dating each other ever since they started working on Love Aaj Kal. However, that didn’t last for long and called it quits. Though they have never accepted their relationship, filmmaker Karan Johar confirmed that they indeed were dating. Despite that, Kartik and Sara were spotted together recently and the picture went viral on social media. This sparked the rumours of a reconciliation. But did they start dating again? Well, the Shehzada actor breaks his silence on his meet-up with Khan.

In an interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Kartik said, “We happened to be at the same place. Toh bas waha se kisine photo kheech li thi. Waha bohut saare logo the jo already kheech rahe the. I was surprised ki ek do hi photo hai (So somebody there clicked a picture. There were many people there who were already clicking pictures. I was surprised that there are only one or two photos).”

When asked if they are doing a film together, Kartik hesitated for a brief moment before saying, “As of now aisa kuch announcement nahi hai. Aur as of now toh abhi pata nahi mujhe (As of now there is no such announcement. And as of now I don’t know anything).“

Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan relationship history:

Back in Koffee With Karan 6, Sara expressed her desire to work with Kartik, stating that she has a crush on him. Seeing their palpable chemistry, they were later signed for Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal. During the the shoot, the two reportedly started dating each other but before the release of the film, they decided to part ways. And since then, they have maintained cordial relationship with each other.

On the professional front, Aaryan will be next seen in Captain America, SatyaPrem Ki Kahani, Aashiqui 3 and untitled next with Kabir Khan. On the other hand, Khan has Laxman Utekar’s untitled next with Vicky Kaushal, Gaslight and Metro In Dino with Aditya Roy Kapur.
