Kartik Aaryan to star opposite THIS actress in ‘Chashme Baddoor’ sequel?

After the success of ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, Kartik Aaryan has become every filmmaker’s favourite. His recent release ‘Luka Chuppi’ with Kriti Sanon was also a huge box office success. Now as per a report in Pinkvilla, Kartik will star in the sequel to ‘Chashme Baddoor’ that had Taapsee Pannu. The report further suggests that the makers have approached Jacqueline Fernandez to play the female lead and she has liked the script.

The portal quoted a source saying, “The producers want Kartik because he will not only add value to the project but make it a bankable feature. His films are doing 80-100 crore business now and he is also instrumental in driving such films. ‘Chashme Baddoor’ is also in that funny, happy comedy space which he’s brilliant in. They have initiated talks with him. Once he returns from the second schedule of ‘Aaj Kal’ from Udaipur, he will formally meet the director and decide on whether he wants to be a part of the film.”

Kartik and Jacqueline were last seen in an ad and there was news that both will star in the Hindi remake of Kannada film ‘Kirik Party’ but now the movie has been shelved. If Kartik and Jacqueline give a nod to it, then ‘Chashme Baddoor’ sequel will be their first movie together.
