Heard this? Kartik Aaryan and Jacqueline Fernandez to star in ‘Kirik Party’ remake

Riding high on the success of his last film, ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ actor Kartik Aaryan is on cloud nine these days. Kartik has already started shooting for his next film, ‘Luka Chuppi’. And now the actor has bagged a film opposite Jacqueline Fernandez.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Kartik and Jacqueline will be paired on-screen for the first time in the Hindi remake of Kannada film ‘Kirik Party’. A source close to the development shared with the tabloid that Jacqueline has already given her nod to the film as she really liked the script. In fact, the actress has even given a look test for the film and will be starting with the workshop very soon.

Sharing her excitement about the film, Jacqueline was quoted saying in the tabloid as, “It’s a great script with blockbuster music. I look forward to working with Kartik and Abhishek for the first time. This role is really special.”

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on Twitter by posting the following picture of the actress with producer Ajay Kapoor.

The ‘Kirik Party’ remake will be directed by Abhishek Jain and produced by Ajay Kapoor, Dheeraj Wadhawan and Vrithika Laykar. Talking about the film Ajay told the tabloid, “We are excited to have Jacqueline on board as she is someone the youth relates to and has an amazing screen presence. This is the first time Jacqueline and Kartik have been cast together and we are confident that the audience will enjoy watching this fresh pair.”
