Kartik Aaryan on working in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Hindi remake: Shehzada will have its own identity

Kartik Aaryan is currently one of the most sought-after actors in Bollywood. He has a plethora of movies lined up. Shehzada is one of them. It is the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun starrer Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Shehzada also stars Kriti Sanon in female lead role. It is directed by Varun Dhawan’s brother Rohit Dhawan. In a recent interview, Kartik opened up on working in the remake of the Telugu hit.

The Love Aaj Kal actor said that he don’t take pressure. He was also all praise for Rohit Dhawan for his craft and also raved Allu Arjun’s performance in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

Kartik told Film Companion, “I just don’t take that pressure. I am not thinking about should I do something that is exactly what has been done over there (South Industry). Those questions don’t bother me…I loved working with Rohit Dhawan.”

He added, “He is like my brother and the way he has given his all to the film…I don’t think there would be any other director who would justice to this film as Rohit has…He added his own elements”.

Kartik appreciating Allu Arjun’s performance in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo said he out-performed in the movie. Kartik also said that Rohit has taken the idea from the film but has given his own spin. That’s why there is no added pressure as it is a new film. He also added that when the film comes out, it would have its own identity and they haven’t taken anything away from the Allu Arjun starrer.

Shehzada is slated to release on November 4, 2022.

Meanwhile, Kartik is currently gearing up for the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 that also has Kiara Advani opposite him. It is releasing on May 20.
