Kartik Aaryan on his character in Dhamaka: Arjun Pathak is ambitious just like me

Kartik Aaryan is currently gearing up for the trailer release of his upcoming film titled Dhamaka. He plays the character of Arjun Pathak, a news anchor at an organization. The makers of the film will release the trailer of Dhamaka during the trailer launch event and give everyone a peek into what to expect from the movie. Ahead of the trailer release, Kartik Aaryan opened up about his character Arjun Pathak. The actor shared interesting details about what Arjun Pathak is and revealed how they relate.

Talking about the character, the Dhamaka actor revealed that the character of Arjun Pathak is not a “grey character”. He said, “Arjun Pathak is not vanilla. He is a grey character.”

Kartik added, “The one thing that has remain constant in my films is relatability and Arjun Pathak is very relatable.” The actor further spoke about the similarities he shares with the character of Arjun Pathak. Kartik shared, “He is ambitious just like me. He is real and not preachy.”

It was only yesterday that the makers announced the trailer release date of Dhamaka. They shared the poster of the film and piqued the interest of the audience and viewers. Earlier, Kartik had shared a mood promo giving a glimpse of what the film is all about. The promising and intriguing mood promo can make anyone want to watch the movie.

Dhamaka is scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform Netflix.  The film stars Mrunal Thakur and Amruta Subhash too, in prominent roles, apart from Kartik Aaryan.

On the work front, Kartik has film Captain India, a musical love story with Kiara Advani, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Shehzada with his Luka Chuppi co-star Kriti Sanon, Freddy with Alaya F and a few others in his kitty.
