Kartik Aaryan to star in Rakesh Sharma’s biopic? Here’s the truth

Ever since the biopic of astronaut Rakesh Sharma was announced, it grabbed headlines for several reasons. Earlier, there were reports of Shah Rukh Khan stepping into the shoes of the legendary astronaut. However, Bollywood Bubble exclusively told you that the superstar is no longer a part of this project which is tentatively titled ‘Saare Jahaan Se Accha’.

As soon as we broke the story of Shah Rukh walking out of the film, reports of several other actors being approached for the film started doing the rounds. It was only recently that we came across reports of Vicky Kaushal and Ayushmann Khurrana being approached for this space film. Interestingly, it was also being said that Kartik Aaryan was approached for ‘Saare Jahaan Se Accha’.

However, clearing the air regarding the rumours, the spokeperson of Kartik released a statement which read, “We just came across this bit of news that is doing the rounds that Kartik Aaryan has been approached for a space film. However, we’d like to clarify that there is no truth to this news whatsoever.”

With Kartik finally confirming that he has not been approached for this film, we hope that at least now, the gossip mongers will stop churning stories surrounding this space film.

Kartik has ‘Luka Chuppi’ in his kitty and has also signed the remake of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ in which he will be starring alongside Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar.
