Kartik Aaryan REFUTES rumours of taking over Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull franchise

After the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, there have been a lot of reports regarding actor Kartik Aaryan that have been surfacing on social media. From hiking his fees to replacing Akshay Kumar in the Housefull franchise, the reports have been making a lot of noise. Now, putting all the rumours to rest, Kartik once again took to his Twitter handle and dismissed the rumour reports of replacing Akshay in Housefull 5.

Calling them baseless, the Luka Chuppi actor mentioned that someone ask him about his next film. He wrote in Hindi, “Koi mujhse bhi poochega meri agli picture kaunsi hai Baseless.” Well, earlier, he refuted the rumours of him hiking his fees after the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. It was reported that apparently, he hiked his fee to Rs 35-40 crores per movie. Squashing all the reports, Kartik said he is been promoted in life but not professionally.

Meanwhile, Kartik is currently riding high with the mega-success of his recently released film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The Anees Bazmee directorial venture is currently performing exceedingly well at the box office. The film has already crossed the 100 crore mark and is now eyeing to cross the 130 crore mark. It is also predicted that the film will comfortably surpass the 150 crore mark as well.

Helmed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 also stars Kiara Advani and Tabu in the lead roles. The film is said to be the sequel of the 2008 film which was headlined by Akshay and Vidya Balan.
