Kartik Aaryan reveals that he got THIS much money as his first pay

Bollywood actor and a handsome model, Kartik Aryan has recently become the new face of PETA’s Go Vegetarian campaign. Thousands of girls have gone crazy with the chocolate boy looks of the ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ star. Famous for his monologue in the ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ series, the actor is now on an all-time high. He is all set for his next release, ‘Luka Chuppi’.

Recently, Kartik Aaryan and his co-star Kriti Sanon unveiled the second poster of the film ‘Luka Chuppi’. The film is helmed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films.

However, ahead of the film’s release, Kartik revealed quite a few things about his struggles and his first paycheck. In an interview with Anupama Chopra for Film Companion, Kartik revealed that he never told his parents of his aspirations of wanting to become an actor. “They always wanted me to become either a doctor or an engineer, which is why I moved to Mumbai in the pretext of pursuing further education,” he added.

“Ek ad mila tha. Which was like an ad, hum saath aath log hai, aur usme mujhe ek cardboard leke kuch naam tha aur khada (tha). That was my first ad. I got Rs 2,500 for it, cheque,” he concluded.

Apart from ‘Luka Chuppi’, Kartik also has ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ remake co-starring Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar. On the other hand, Kriti (who was last seen in ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’) will next be seen in ‘Kalank’, ‘Arjun Patiala’ and ‘Housefull 4′.
