Kartik Aaryan finally reveals even he had a crush on Sara Ali Khan ever since she appeared on ‘Koffee With Karan’

Before making her silver screen debut, Sara Ali Khan had appeared on Karan Johar’s hit chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’. And it was there when she had openly spoken about her crush on Kartik Aaryan. Post that we saw these two being formally introduced by Ranveer Singh at an award function.

Today at the trailer launch of ‘Love Aaj Kal’, Kartik finally revealed that even he developed a crush on Sara ever since he saw her on KJo’s chat show.

When asked about what’s brewing between him and Sara, Kartik said, “Jab inhone national television pe bola tha, uss time mujhe inpe crush aa gaya tha. Tabhi main phir sharmane laga tha. Jab bhi aap mujhse aise sawaal poochte hai ya inse aise sawaal poochte hai, toh jawaab kya dein? Inhone toh seedhe bol diya tha, main wahaan pe atak gaya tha ki main haan bolun ya… ‘Tu haan kar ya na kar, tu hai meri Sara’. The actor’s awkwardness clearly indicated that he doesn’t know how to answer such questions and he even admitted to it.

Later crediting Ranveer Singh for introducing him to Sara, Kartik said, “Unhone hamari jodi banayi. Hamari bahut ache se dosti karayi.” To which Sara chipped in saying, “I was about to say, what Imtiaz sir might be thinking ke Ranveer ka kya hai, love story toh maine banayi hai.” At this everyone had a hearty laugh.
