Shehzada is one such movie of Kartik Aaryan for which he is very well known. Kartik starred alongside Kriti Sanon in the Rohit Dhawan directorial and left the audience mighty impressed. Shehzada is a remake of Allu Arjun’s hit movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Kartik was given the credits as a producer for Shehzada because he had given up his acting fees just so that the movie would see the light of the day.
Kartik Aaryan says he ‘gave up’ Shehzada fees
It was earlier this year when Kartik Aaryan starrer Shehzada was released but it couldn’t perform well at the box office. Now, Kartik Aaryan spoke with Film Companion and shared that he was not a proper producer for Shehzada. He shared, “I was not a producer-producer as such. I was given that credit on the basis that the film was going into a money crisis, and I gave up on my fees. I also gave some money so that the structure could be made and the film doesn’t get stuck.”
Further, Kartik also shared that he was only acting as a producer. He shared he was graciously credited as the producer of the movie as his help made sure that Shehzada did not face money crisis. He shared, “The producers were gracious enough that they credited me (as a producer) for that reason.”

Meanwhile on the work front, Kartik Aaryan is gearing up for Kabir Khan’s Chandu Champion. The movie has a release date of 24th June, 2024. Apart from this, he also has Anurag Basu’s Aashiqui 3 in the pipeline. While Kartik Aaryan will be playing the male lead in Aashiqui 3, the female lead is yet to be decided.
