Kartik Aaryan shares what Ranveer Singh got wrong in his impersonation on Koffee With Karan 7

Kartik Aaryan has had a tremendous start to 2022 as his first release of the year Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 became the highest grossing Hindi film of the year yet. At a time when Hindi films were facing a lull at the box office, Kartik came with Kiara Advani and Tabu in the Anees Bazmee directorial in the month of May, reviving the business.

The success that he has accomplished, has had everyone talking about him and that happened on Koffee With Karan 7 as well, as even after not being physically there on the first two episodes, he was a topic of discussion in both.

In the first episode featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as guests, the former showed his amazing acting skills as he mimicked some of the leading men from the industry, including Kartik Aaryan. The whole impersonation got viral on the internet and people loved Ranveer’s take on Kartik. After the act, even Alia had said, “We love you Kartik”.

In a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, when Kartik was mentioned that even without being there, he is being talked about on Koffee With Karan 7, he said, “I mean I am fine with anything. I am happy that jahaan pe bhi jo bhi baatein chalti rehti bas positive tareeke se baatein chalti rahein. (I am happy if whatever is being talked about me, just happens in a positive way).”

Kartik Aaryan also reacted to the impersonation done by Ranveer Singh , sharing how he found it. He shared, “I didn’t see the episode but I have seen the video of Ranveer and yeah, he is really watching my video. (Laughs) He was good, he was good.”

He went on to make a quippy remark as well as he pointed out what the Padmaavat actor got wrong in the act. “But main actually thank you bolta hun, mime nahi karta. (I actually say thank you, I don’t mime),” he chuckled.

It’s great to see Kartik also take the whole act in the same spirit that it was done in. Meanwhile, on the work front, Kartik is on a very successful streak as up next, he has a plethora of films including Freddy, Captain India, Shehzada, Sameer Vidhwans’ love story and the recently announced Sajid Nadiadwala’s film with Kabir Khan.
