Kartik Aaryan drops a drool-worthy shirtless picture that has Aashiqui 3 connection

Kartik Aaryan has been grabbing the headlines ever since Aashiqui 3 announcement. It will be directed by Anurag Basu. On Saturday, Kartik posted a shirtless picture of himself on his Instagram handle. The handsome hunk can be seen giving an intense look and it has sent the internet into a meltdown. Fans are swooning over Aaryan’s hot look.

He posted the pic with Aashiqui song Main Duniya Bhoola Dunga by Kumar Sanu playing in the background. He wrote “A3” as he captioned the snap. The actor might have hinted that this is his Aashiqui 3 look or he might have started the shoot. But nothing much was revealed.

Talking about Aashiqui 3, Kartik unveiled the first look of the third instalment as he shared a clip on Instagram with the song Ab Tere Bin in the background. He captioned it, “Ab Tere Bin Ji Lenge Hum Zeher Zindagi Ka Pi Lenge Hum #Aashiqui3 This one is going to be Heart-wrenching !! My First with Basu Da”.

The original Aashiqui, released in 1990, was directed by Mahesh Bhatt and starred Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal. The second instalment was helmed by Mohit Suri in 2013, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur.

Earlier in an interview with Variety, Kartik while sharing his excitement about the film had said, “The timeless classic ‘Aashiqui’ is something I grew up watching and working on Aashiqui 3 is like a dream come true. I feel privileged yet grateful collaborating with Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt for this opportunity. I’ve been a big fan of Anurag Basu’s work and collaborating with him on this one will definitely shape me in many ways.”

Apart from this, he also has Shehzada, Freddy, Satyaprem Ki Katha and Captain India among others.
