We all remember how Kartik Aaryan was recently slammed for domestic violence towards his sister during a nationwide Corronavirus lockdown. While the video was made all in fun and jest, there was a certain section of people who didn’t like the video and called it out for promoting domestic violence. Sona Mohapatra was one of the frontrunners of the same. Kartik soon realised that such people could not take a joke as a joke, and therefore silently deleted the video without doing any hullabaloo about it. Now, another video where Kartik’s sister has been seen slapping him has been going viral where people have been calling it out as domestic violence.
Indeed, it’s true. When a video where a brother is seen joking hitting his sister is considered as domestic violence why shouldn’t a funny video where the sister is slapping the brother not considered domestic violence? Double standards, we must say!. Have a look at the video for yourself:

While people have been calling out the domestic violence in this video as well, Sona Mohapatra once again came online and slammed the actor and called him ‘PR hungry’. Have a look at her tweets here:

Sona tweeted, “Sad how u are now going around pushing ur PR ppl to put up headlines about how ‘all’ ‘netizens’ r ‘slamming’ me for having issue with ur ‘silly- dangerous’video.I thought u realised ur folly @TheAaryanKartik , were genuine in your retraction when I Clapping hands sign that. MCP ego flared up? (sic).”

She went on to tweet again, stating, “& dear all including the PR hungry @TheAaryanKartik, sister slapping him/u in a previous video doesn’t justify ur video either. This is India. What do the stats show? How many women thrash men at home vs the opposite?Which gender is likely to be more instigated towards violence?Red circle (sic).”
Well, it seems good that Kartik Aaryan hasn’t reacted to Sona Mohapatra’s incessant slamming yet. Let’s wait and watch whether he goes on to delete this video also where his sister has been called out for domestic violence? Or will he let this rant from Sona Mohapatra just go without a reaction?
