Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 delayed? Director Anees Bazmee reveals

When the Indian theatre business was facing an uncertainty and huge losses, in came Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film created an uproar on the box office and revived the theatres business. Thus, the excitement was at its peak when Kartik announced that he and director Anees Bazmee are returning for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. And now, the director has shared an important update on it.

On March 1 this year, producers Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T Series had officially announced Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. They also announced the return of the actor-director pair of Kartik and Anees. The release date for the film was said to be Diwali 2024. Now, Anees has given a new update on it, sharing if it is delayed or not.

The filmmaker is currently presenting the upcoming film Section 108 whose teaser was recently launched. At the teaser launch event, Anees was asked about an update on BB3. There he said, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will take time. We are still in the writing process so can’t say when it will be released.” Some recent reports said that BB3 will go on floors in February 2024. Kartik will wrap up Chandu Champion by then.

Anees-Shahid Kapoor fallout

Anees was also going to work on a comedy with Shahid Kapoor. The actor was to have a double role in the film. However, recently reports surfaced that the actor-director duo had a fallout due to creative differences. Shahid has reportedly walked out of the film and Anees is now focusing on BB3. With the film in the scripting stage, it looks like it might keep up with the original release plan. If it releases on Diwali 2024, BB3 will clash with Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 5 which is reported to have a huge ensemble cast.
