Kartik Aaryan tests COVID positive; urges fans to pray for him

We are expecting a second wave of COVID-19 in India which is already impacting our lives and the entertainment industry. Unfortunately, the heart-throb of the nation, actor Kartik Aaryan has also contracted the deadly virus. Yes, Kartik has tested positive for COVID-19.

Kartik announced the unfortunate news on Instagram by posting an image of a PLUS sign signifying ‘positive’ for the novel coronavirus. He captioned the post, “Positive ho gaya, Dua karo.” Soon after his post, fans started showering him with “get well soon” messages and wished him a speedy recovery.

Kartik and Kiara walked the ramp for designer Manish Malhotra at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week on Saturday. While Kiara wore a blingy silver lehenga choli, Kartik opted for a black Indo-Western suit for the show that featured Manish’s new collection, Nooraniyat. Kiara and Kartik are currently shooting for the sequel to Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan 2007 hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The film also stars Tabu. Being helmed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will arrive in theatres on November 19.

Besides Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik will also be seen in the film Dhamaka which will release on OTT. The actor plays the role of a news anchor in the film, who is covering the story of a mysterious bomb blast. The film has been directed by Ram Madhvani.

Recently, celebs like Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Tara Sutaria, Siddhant Chaturvedi and others also tested Covid positive.
