About Kartik’s first look

The first look of the film, directed by Anurag Basu, was released on Saturday. It showcased Kartik and Sreeleela in a romantic drama set to hit theatres in Diwali 2025. The teaser features Kartik sporting a huge beard and playing guitar in a concert, reminiscent of the opening scene of Aashiqui 2. The video also shows the couple romancing in the mountains and riding bikes, with a slowed-down version of the song “Tu hi zindagi hai, tu hi aashiqui hai” playing in the background.

The film is speculated to be a spiritual successor to the Aashiqui franchise, which was originally released in 1990 and was revived in 2013 with Aashiqui 2.
