About Karwa Chauth
Rooted in tradition and cultural heritage, Karwa Chauth symbolises the deep bond of love and commitment between husband and wife. On this day, women observe a day-long fast for the well-being and longevity of their husbands. While traditionally married women keep the fast, today, even unmarried women participate in the festival as a gesture of love and in hopes to get a loving spouse in the future.
The festival is also an occasion that sees women socialising and well as getting beauty treatments done, having mehendi applied, and wearing eye-catching traditional attires.
