Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are the new couple in town and ever since they started dating, there were speculations that the ‘Raazi’ star has had a fallout with her bestie Katrina Kaif who is Ranbir Kapoor’s ex-girlfriend. Many even said that Katrina has stopped ‘liking’ Alia’s posts on social media, though both Katrina and Alia have time and again tried to clear the air by going on record to say that there’s no bad blood between the two.

Finally, at a recent award function, the matter was cleared when Alia and Katrina came face to face with each other. The two actors were seen on the dais at the Star Screen Awards 2018 and it appeared that the two have firmly put the past behind.

It so happened that Salman Khan, who was performing at the event, called many actors including Katrina, Alia, Vicky Kaushal, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Ayushmann Khurrana to the stage for a countdown to New Year’s. The assembled actors went on to wish the audience. In a video that has emerged online, Katrina and Alia can be seen in an animated conversation.

Katrina had earlier spoken about her equation with Alia on ‘Koffee With Karan’ in November. “It isn’t tough to maintain my equation with Alia. We are not everyday phone-conversation buddies but I like who she is. There is a certain enjoyment factor. We have a fun and comfort level when we are together. It’s the decision that I made. I respect and value the relationship and it shouldn’t change for anything,” she said.
