‘Suraiyya’ song making video: Katrina reveals why she couldn’t trust Aamir during the rehearsals

Aamir Khan is more commonly known as Mr Perfectionist and can go to any extent to get the best out of him during the shooting of a movie. But, many people also don’t know that under this tough exterior, Aamir Khan is also a prankster and can sometimes take the mickey out of you without anyone knowing. During the making, of ‘Suraiyya’ song, Katrina Kaif found out exactly that.

In the video shared on the official Twitter handle of Yash Raj Films, Katrina Kaif is seen talking about how difficult it was for her to prepare for this song (believe me! it is hard just looking at the steps) during which she revealed that she wasn’t able to trust Aamir while rehearsing for one particular step in the song Suraiyya.

Katrina said, “Because there is a lot of masti in the song, there is dance, there is comedy and a whole lot of things going on. There is one step where Aamir runs and I kind of freefall and he has to catch me. So when I was rehearsing with the dancer I was fine, but whenever we used to rehearse together, I would not have the confidence to leave my body and I just couldn’t put that trust in him.”

Earlier this week, the teaser of the track was dropped online and immediately after its release, the song generated quite a buzz.

‘Thugs of Hindostan’ is a film, which is highly anticipated by the audiences as it is for the first time Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan are appearing together and Katrina Kaif shares a unique distinction of sharing the screen space with the holy trinity of Khans i.e. Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir and after watching the making of the song, we can safely say that Katrina Kaif has come a long way and all the appreciation is totally justified.
