Is Katrina Kaif – Aditya Roy Kapur’s ‘Fitoor’ shelved?

Bollywood’s gorgeous actress Katrina Kaif was signed for ‘Fitoor’ opposite newbie Sushant Singh Rajput, but later he was replaced by Aditya Roy Kapur. The film has been in the news since a long time now. First it was due to issues related to cast and now if rumours are to be believed the project is shelved.

As per sources, ‘Fitoor’ is based on Charles Dickson’s ‘The Great Expectations’, the movie was about an orphan who falls for a rich and heartless girl. But now it seems that it has been shelved and the the director has moved on to other projects. However, the production house still maintains that the shooting will begin from mid 2014 and that the director is currently in Kashmir on a recce.
It was also being rumored that the movie will see Bollywood’s original divas- Rekha and Sridevi in supporting roles. Well we do hope to see this movie made, as it has a very strong star-cast and script.
