Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding to be a five-day long gala affair

The whole nation has been buzzing with the news of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal wedding which is nothing short of a gala affair. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal had jetted off to Jaipur with their families for their wedding which will be a five-day-long celebration. Vicky and Katrina are already enjoying the pre-wedding festivities as they had kick-started the Haldi ceremony yesterday.

Post that, the guests and the to be bride and groom are gearing up for Sangeet and Mehendi ceremony which is said to take place today. Talking about the Sangeet, it is said that Vicky and his mother had arranged for a special ladies Sangeet which is a traditional ritual in a Punjabi wedding. This is for Vicky’s family to introduce the tradition to Katrin and her family from London.

A report by Bollywood Life said, “Veena ji is very fond of Katrina. And while there will be the big Sangeet night later today, she wanted to do something more intimate and special and so she organized a small Ladies Sangeet ceremony just like the typical traditional Punjabi style.”

Well after the pre-wedding festivities, Vicky and Katrina will finally tie the knot on December 9 in a very lavish set-up. As per a report by India Today, Katrina and Vicky’s pheras would take place, in a specially designed royal style mandap. Well, once the duo is announced husband and wife, they will have a grand reception the very next day which is December 10.

Finally, on the 11th, Mr and Mrs Kaushal will fly out back to Mumbai.

Talking about their honeymoon, Vicky and Katrina will skip their honeymoon as both the actors have a lot of film commitments. She will be back to Tiger 3 (with Salman Khan) and Sriram Raghavan’s next with Vijay Sethupathi. Vicky also has Sam Bahadur and Mr Lele.
