Katrina Kaif opens up about choosing ‘Bharat’ over ‘Street Dancer 3D’

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif comes across as a very thoughtful and articulate performer. The actress doesn’t choose any project for the sake of it, but after giving due deliberation and attention. Kat is currently busy promoting Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’. Now, the ‘Fitoor’ actress in an interview has opened up about why she left ‘Street Dancer 3D’.

Katrina Kaif in an interview with DNA revealed the reason behind choosing ‘Bharat’ and not doing Remo D’souza’s ‘Street Dancer 3D’. Kat said, “It just became evident that to do justice to ‘Street Dancer 3D’, I would have let to go of something from ‘Bharat’. Maybe I couldn’t shoot the extra work and give attention. So I took my call. I’m happy with my decision.”

Katrina Kaif further stated that ‘Bharat’ is a special film for her to let it go completely unfinished. She is happy to choose Ali’s film as she won’t get a chance to do something like this time and again.

Shraddha Kapoor has now replaced Katrina Kaif in ‘Street Dancer 3D’. This dancing extravaganza features Varun Dhawan in the lead role and will be releasing early next year.

Coming back to ‘Bharat’, Katrina is playing the role of Kumud Raina and her chemistry with Salman Khan is quite brilliant. ‘Bharat’ is being helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is releasing on June 5, 2019.
