Katrina Kaif dismisses reports of being approached for a film with Mahesh Babu

Bollywood star Katrina Kaif is currently busy with the shooting for her upcoming film ‘Bharat’ which features Salman Khan, Disha Patani and Tabu in pivotal roles. On the other hand, Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu is busy with the shooting of Vamshi Paidipally’s film titled, ‘Maharshi’. The film is reportedly based on the story of Microsoft CEO, Satya Narayana Nadella.

But the fans of Mahesh Babu are also curious about his next film with director Sukumar. Do you all know why? Because rumours were doing the rounds that director Sukumar has approached Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif for this yet to be titled film.

Recently, it was reported that the makers of the film are quite keen to get Katrina Kaif onboard. However, Bollywood diva has denied being a part of any such film. In an interview with DNA, Katrina revealed that she has not been approached for the film.

The actress said, “I haven’t signed anything after ‘Bharat’. As for your question, no, I haven’t even been approached for the film.”

It is to be noted that Katrina Kaif has also walked out of Varun Dhawan’s ‘ABCD 3’ saying it wasn’t possible for the actress to shoot for another movie along with ‘Bharat’. ‘Bharat’, which is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, is all set to release on Eid this year.

Importantly, Katrina had previously worked in Telugu films too. She had made her Telugu debut with Venkatesh Daggubati’s ‘Malliswari’ and was also seen in another film, ‘Allari Pidugu with Nandamuri Balakrishna.
