Katrina Kaif gives a miss to Arpita Khan’s baby shower & here’s why?

Arpita Khan’s baby shower ceremony organised by Salman Khan‘s family witnessed a celebrity galore. The who’s who from the industry made it a point to attend this function and be a part of Salman’s celebrations. But, one face which was missing from this extravagant affair is that of Katrina Kaif.

Salman Khan’s one time love interest, Katrina Kaif, is close to Khan parivaar we all know that! Even after the two ended their relationship, the two maintained a cordial relationship and Katrina was invited for every occasion celebrated by Salman’s family. She was a part of Arpita’s wedding and we expected that she would be a part of her baby shower ceremony too. But unfortunately, she couldn’t make it for this event as she was busy promoting her just released film ‘Fitoor’ along with her co-star Aditya Roy Kapur at Kala Ghoda Festival held in Mumbai.

Reports reveal that she was on the invitee list of Arpita’s baby shower and she tried her best to make it to the event. But, sadly, her work commitments did not allow her to do so and hence she missed this opportunity to spend time with Salman’s family.

Well, Salman and Katrina’s relationship is under public’s radar especially after the two were spotted together dinning at a popular joint in Mumbai. All of this was post Katrina’s break-up with Ranbir Kapoor. Whispers were being heard in the industry that Katrina called it a split with Ranbir only on Salman’s advice. Mr. Bhaijaan seemed to be concerned with Kat’s growing insecurity over Kapoor lad and hence the story. He even went forward and gave a sweet surprise to his one time lady love on the sets of ‘Comedy Night’s Live,’ where she was promoting her film ‘Fitoor.’
