What! Katrina Kaif goes missing from ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ screening, courtesy Ranbir Kapoor

After a lot of commotion, Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ finally saw the sunshine and made it to the theatres. A special screening of the same was held for Bollywood biggies and well, many starry faces turned up to watch this film. Gauri Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Zoya Akhtar, Karisma Kapoor and many more made their presence felt at the screening. But one face that went missing from the screening is of Katrina Kaif.

Now this is no brainer that why she didn’t come to watch the film. We all know the history that Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif share. But on the same note, Karan Johar, the maker of the film also shares a great bond with Kat. Well, it would have been okay if Kat herself decided to skip this screening, but it’s disappointing to know that she was not even invited for it. As per the reports, apparently, Ranbir Kapoor requested KJo to not invite Kat as it would lead to an uncomfortable situation.

A source quoted to a leading daily, “Ranbir told his director not to invite her as it would make the atmosphere uncomfortable.” They also revealed Katrina’s reaction to this. “When Katrina heard about this, she was naturally a bit upset but decided to keep the peace. She’s over him and she just wants their film ‘Jagga Jasoos’ to release next year,” source added.
