Katrina Kaif: I really hope to put my name as a producer to one of the projects I’ve been in discussions with

Katrina Kaif is one of the most talented actors around. Even though ‘Zero’ bombed at the box-office, her performance as a drunk actress was appreciated by everyone. Now, joining the ranks of Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra, Katrina has decided to turn producer.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, she said, “Yes, it’s true. I plan to start my production house sometime towards the end of this year. I really hope to put my name as a producer to one of the projects I’ve been in discussions with. So let’s see.”

Speaking about her current state of mind, Katrina said in a recent interview with DNA, “Life has put me on a journey that has put me on unchartered (very unexpected paths) territories emotionally. That has taught me about myself. I have learnt a lot about emotion, pain, love and betrayal. But at the same time, I have also gained an understanding about positive things like trust. I have begun to see life in a deeper way. And I have brought all of this to my work. Having that platform and then having fantastic directors like Aanand sir has helped.”
