Katrina Kaif starrer Merry Christmas’ Delhi schedule cancelled amid rising Covid cases

Katrina Kaif has been ruling social media since her wedding with Vicky Kaushal. Post her wedding the Diva after a short holiday has resumed work. She is collaborating with Sriram Raghavan for ‘Merry Christmas’. The movie features Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. The team was reportedly set to travel to Delhi for the second schedule of the movie. However, the Delhi schedule stands cancelled due to the rising COVID cases.

As reported by sources to Bollywoodlife, “Katrina Kaif, Vijay Sethupathi and the other cast and crew members were all set to leave for Delhi around this month. However, now they have postponed the plan as the covid cases in Delhi is rising each day And now the makers have decided to cancel the Capital schedule for now. The first schedule of the film was shot in Mumbai earlier week“.

Merry Christmas is all set to release in theatres on December 23, 2022. However, the date might get postponed owing to the pandemic.

Merry Christmas is not the only film that might get delayed. The rise in COVID cases has led to many production houses postponing their films. Some of them are RRR, Radhe Shyam, Jersey and many more.

On the work front, Katrina Kaif will be seen in Maneesh Sharma’s ‘Tiger 3’ along with Salman Khan and Emraan Hashmi. She also has ‘Phone Bhoot’ with Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi. She also has Ali Abbas Zafar’s superhero movie in her kitty.
