Katrina Kaif opens up about her equation with Tiger 3 co-star Salman Khan: His unpredictability keeps things exciting

It has been 20 years for Katrina Kaif working in the Bollywood entertainment industry. Currently, Katrina is basking in the thunderous success of Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3. Speaking of which, the actress has worked alongside Salman Khan in multiple movies including Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Bharat, Partner, Tiger Zinda Hai and many more. Now, in a recent interview, Katrina Kaif has opened up about her 20 years in the industry. Not only this, she has also spoken up about her equation with Tiger 3 co-star Salman Khan and how it has evolved over the years.

Speaking with Indian Express, Katrina Kaif shared what it is like working with Salman Khan. She shared that they have a mutual understanding between each other. Speaking of Katrina’s equation with Salman Khan, the actress said, “It’s been quite a few years we’ve been doing films together now. Over the years, it’s been really interesting, the way our dynamics and the equation has evolved. Right from the time when I first started doing films with him, being a complete newcomer and he was seasoned star already.“

She added, “Then a few years later we came together for Ek Tha Tiger, I had experience of my own and I was finding myself as an actor, I was finding my voice as an artiste, he’s been there throughout. For Tiger 3, there was this mutual understanding and ease, like we kind of just knew how to play off each other. But yet, at the same time, Salman can still just surprise you, just bring something so unexpected, that’s the unpredictability of him and that’s what keeps things exciting.”

Katrina calls Tiger 3 ‘larger than life spectacle’

Katrina Kaif also shared that her profession of being an actress has changed her from within. She recently starred in Tiger 3 which emerged as a blockbuster at the box office and it is still running successfully in cinemas. Speaking of which, Katrina says, “Tiger is such a loved franchise, and to be coming back on screen with Salman for Tiger 3 is truly a wonderful feeling that too at one of the most special times — Diwali, starting the new year. The whole world of Tiger, with every film, we’ve able to take the story to a new place, made into something more dynamic, there is much more action, it is a larger-than-life spectacle. Both me and Salman are really most excited when we come together with a Tiger film.”

Now, after the glorious success of Maneesh Sharma-directed movie Tiger 3, Katrina Kaif is definitely on a roll. The actress is all set to star alongside Vijay Sethupathi in Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas, the upcoming movie of Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi is all set to release next year on 12th January 2024.
