Katrina Kaif pairs up with Sidharth Malhotra

A fresh new pairing of Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra was waiting to happen. The jodi will soon be seen in Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment upcoming film soon. Farhan Akhtars’s assistant Nitya Mehra wanted to cast the new jodi for her debut film. Now her dream has come true of casting Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra as lead actors.

Farhan Akhtar said, “We’ve cast Katrina and Siddharth in Nitya’s film. Both the actors have very unusual roles in the film. It’s important to try out new pairs and permutations, as these work to make audiences curious about a film.”

It is being rumoured that Nitya Mehra initially had Aamir Khan or Hrithik to play the lead role, but as both of them were quite busy her project was kept on back burner. Now with Nitya returning post her marrige she decided to revive her project with a fresh and happening new jodi. Both Katrina and Sisharth have loved the script so it was no problem to convince them to sign on the dotted lines.
