Katrina Kaif the reigning queen of Bollywood once again

The gorgeous Katrina Kaif is back with a Dhoom toppling secure rival Deepika Padukone of the of 100 crore club with a single stroke from the number one position. The year was not good for Katrina with no release and her rival Deepu giving four back to back 100 crore club hits. But she has changed the equation with one sensational hit Dhoom 3 and  has once again reclaimed her position as the ruling queen of Bollywood.

As per sources, Industry pundits felt that there will not be much to do in Dhoom 3 with Aamir Khan in the lead but Katrina’s faith in Aditya Chopra bore fruit and she has a larger role in the movie quite on par with Aamir. A leading distributor from the North said, “You have to see the reactions to Katrina’s introduction song. Yash Raj did the best thing by not revealing much of the song on television.”

Even trade analyst Taran Adarsh cannot believe how strongly Katrina has struck back. “She has certainly got back with a vengeance,” he says. “One hit benefits everybody and changes the whole box-office popularity of a star. Katrina is definitely one of the main reasons, apart from Aamir and the Dhoom franchise, that D3 is such a big hit. Katrina is still super hot.

Well at the rate that Dhoom 3 is breaking records now,  seems like Katrina Kaif will be the only heroine to be in the Rs 300 crore film bracket.
