Katrina Kaif reveals why she kept her wedding with Vicky Kaushal a private affair

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are one of the most loved couples of Bollywood. Vicky and Katrina tied the knot in December last year. The wedding was a private affair. Katrina has now shared the reason behind her secret wedding with Vicky.

The actress told Zoom, “I think more than trying to keep it private, we were restricted by, unfortunately, Covid-19. You know my family has been personally affected by Covid-19, and it was something that you had to take seriously.”

She added, “I think this year it’s been a lot better, but it was something that we wanted to really be cautious of, but the wedding was beautiful. I think we are both very happy.”

After the wedding, Katrina and Vicky had shared their first pictures as bride and groom. The couple had captioned their pics saying, “Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment… Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together.”

On the work front, Katrina and Vicky have interesting projects in the pipeline. Talking about Katrina, she will be next seen in horror-comedy, Phone Bhoot. The actress will be sharing screen space with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter in the same. Phone Bhoot is slated to release on November 4 this year. The actress also has Tiger 3 with Salman Khan and Merry Christmas with Vijay Sethupathi. Apart from this, she will also be seen in Jee Le Zaraa alongside Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Vicky, on the other hand, has Govinda Naam Mera.
