Katrina Kaif to star opposite Ranveer Singh in Rohit Shetty’s next?

Few days ago, Rohit Shetty had confirmed that after ‘Golmaal Again’ his next film will be with Ranveer Singh. The director had told Bollywood Life, “Yes, I am making a film with him (Ranveer Singh), what’s true is true. How much will we hide it? But there’s a lot of time before it takes off. He has ‘Padmavati’ right now, then Zoya’s film (‘Gully Boy’), so we should start mid-next year. It is an action film… a hardcore action film.”

Well, then there were reports that the movie will be a remake of 2015 release Telugu flick ‘Temper’ which starred Junior NTR and Kajal Aggarwal. And now, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the film will have Katrina Kaif opposite Ranveer Singh.

Reportedly, Katrina, who is going through a rough phase in her professional life after back-to-back flops like ‘Fitoor’, ‘Baar Baar Dekho’, and ‘Jagga Jasoos’, has been meeting many filmmakers to revive her career.

While we are yet to get the confirmation from Rohit about casting Katrina in the film, we are already excited to see Ranveer romancing the actress. If these reports turn out to be true, then this will be for the first time when Ranveer and Katrina will be seen on the big screen together. Talking about their other films, Ranveer is currently busy with the shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ along with Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, and he also has Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ in his kitty where he will be seen along with Alia Bhatt. Meanwhile, Katrina is busy with the shooting of Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ alongside Salman Khan, and she will also be seen in ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ where she will be seen with Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, and Aanand L Rai’s next opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
