Katrina Kaif trolled for doing the Ganesh aarti incorrectly at Arpita Khan’s residence

Salman Khan and his family welcomed Bappa Ganesha with great fanfare this year. The entire family came together to celebrate the festival. Interestingly, Salman’s ‘Bharat’ co-star Katrina Kaif who is very close to his family joined the celebrations.

Salman’s brother Atul Agnihotri (he is married to Alvira Khan) shared a glimpse of the celebration at Arpita’s residence by posting a video on Instagram. In the said video, the entire Khan family can be seen performing the Ganesh aarti. You can check the video here:

Katrina who will be next seen alongside Salman in ‘Bharat’, came in wearing a bright coloured ethnic outfit to be a part of the festivities at Arpita’s residence. In the video shared by Atul, even Katrina can be seen doing Ganesh aarti. However, it was Katrina’s way of performing the aarti that caught the netizen’s attention. Yes, instead of doing it clockwise, Katrina performed the aarti anti-clockwise and this was enough for the social media users to troll her.

However, there were few people who pointed out that intentions are important, so Katrina’s mistake should be overlooked.

Katrina may have done the aarti incorrectly, but it’s wrong to troll or judge her on the basis of that. Her devotion and faith in doing the aarti is what should matter.
