Katrina Kaif’s dancing statue to unveil on March 27

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif will be seen sporting a dancing pose for her wax statue at Madame Tussauds museum in London. The statue is all set to be unveiled on March 27th. With the unveiling, Katrina Kaif will join other Bollywood celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit there.

Katrina Kaif was chosen in an online contest launched by Madame Tussauds has posted on its website. Bollywood beauty beat Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. Madame Tussauds has posted on its website: “Now, almost fifteen years and seven wax figures later, the fans have once again decided on who they want to see here – after a very close contest. Katrina Kaif will be the next Bollywood start to join our line up. We are delighted she has agreed to work with us to create her wax likeness and look forward to revealing the figure to the public in Spring 2015”.

The wax figure is quite unique as no other celebrity has been seen in a dancing pose, most of the wax statues of Bollywood stars have them in a standing pose. But Katrina Kaif’s statue willhave her in a traditional Indian folk dance pose.

Maybe Tussauds decided on this pose after having watched Katrina in songs like‘Chikni Chameli’, ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ and ‘Kamli’.
