Katrina Kaif’s words on working with Ranbir Kapoor post breakup are truly emotional

Ex-lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have been promoting their upcoming flick ‘Jagga Jasoos’ everywhere. The two had a breakup last year, but continue to hold a sweet equation. We have seen them indulging in leg pulling and they spare no chances of poking fun at each other. However, one can truly understand that working with an ex immediately post breakup ain’t that easy.

So recently, when Katrina was asked if it was difficult working with him post breakup, her words were truly emotional. She said, “Whether it was, how difficult it was, is honestly something that will stay with me. And only with me. Not even with Dada. Because it’s not something I want to discuss. Not now, may be. You can never say about the future, but definitely not right now. Whatever it was, however it was, it will always stay with me. A really big lesson for me in the last year or so has been to not have a strong opinion about what the other person should do. That other person could be my mother, sister, husband, boyfriend, lover – whoever it is, we are all individuals. I may have an opinion on what’s right by me for you to be doing. But that’s what is my version of what is right. It doesn’t need to be yours, too. But whatever a person does, I believe they are doing it for themselves. She even clarified her earlier comment of never working with Ranbir again. She said, “Honestly, none of us is thinking about that. I can give you that in writing. Firstly, I have got my few films lined up. So does Ranbir. And we all are waiting for that Friday to see the response to this film. There’s no thought beyond it. People might feel that we think and plan a lot, more than what we do, but right now, we are all here and our eyes are on that Friday.”

‘Jagga Jasoos’ is directed by Anurag Basu and will be releasing on July 14, 2017.
