Its full and final, Katrina Kaif is not a part of Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat’, which also features Salman Khan, Disha Patani and Priyanka Chopra. After much speculations surrounding her role in ‘Bharat’, the lady herself decided to put an end to it. In a recent interaction with Hindustan Times, the actress made her point clear that she is not a part of the movie.
Talking to the leading daily, she said, “I am not a part of that film. My next is Remo D’Souza’s film with Varun (Dhawan), which I am going to start work on, after wrapping up Aanand L Rai’s film, ‘Zero’. There is still a little bit of work left to complete that film. I should start work on the dance film by the last quarter of the year.”
The reason for her exit from the film was rumoured to be the last minute changes in the script. A source close to Bollywoodlife had said, ” The character that she was supposed to play isn’t adding much of an importance to the story. So the makers decided to go against the character and drop it; instead of having a leading actress like Katrina sign up for a role and then regret doing it. It was a mutual decision between both Katrina and Team Bharat and it had all been finalised on an amicable note.”
Well, one minus from her interesting line-up of movies, won’t bother much to the actress. The 35-year-old already has Anand L Rai’s ‘Zero’, ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ and Remo D’Souza’s dance film with Varun Dhawan.
