Katrina Kaif no more a part of Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’?

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan share a special bond and everyone is aware of that. Because of that bond, Katrina had agreed to be a part of ‘Bharat’ but now, there are reports that Katrina has opted out of the film.

A source close to the unit informed BollywoodLife that Katrina has decided to opt out of ‘Bharat’ because of some last minute changes in the script. “The character that she was supposed to play isn’t adding much of an importance to the story. So the makers decided to go against the character and drop it; instead of having a leading actress like Katrina sign up for a role and then regret doing it,” the source said.

The source further revealed, “It’s a mutual decision between both Katrina and team ‘Bharat’ and it has all been finalised on an amicable note.”

The previous report had stated that Katrina was going to have a cameo in the film and she had no issues with the length of her role.

Meanwhile, Katrina was touring with Salman Khan, along with Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonakshi Sinha, Prabhudheva, Daisy Shah, Maniesh Paul and Guru Randhawa, for the recently concluded ‘Da-bangg Tour’.

Coming to her upcoming films, she has ‘Zero’ with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. Directed by Aanand L Rai the film will release on December 21, 2018. Then, ‘Thugs Of Hindustan’ along with Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Besides these two films, she also has Remo D’Souza’s dance film with Varun Dhawan.
