Katrina replaced by Jacqueline in ‘Race 3’ on Salman’s recommendation?

We all know that Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen together for the second time in ‘Race 3’ which will be reportedly directed by Remo D’Souza. The movie is being produced by Ramesh Taurani, and now, there are reports that Jacqueline was not the first choice for the film.

Well, the first choice for the film was none other than Katrina Kaif. The actress has been a part of the first instalment of the franchise, and was reportedly going to star in ‘Race 3’. However, on Salman’s recommendation, Jacqueline was roped in. Isn’t this surprising that Salman was the one who opted for Jacqueline, instead of Katrina? So, the reason behind this is something very sweet.

Salman was going to do a dance film with Remo D’Souza which also starred Jacqueline Fernandez. However, reportedly Salman decided to opt out of the film as he felt that he is too old to play a dancing star. So, as he opted out of that film, he lifted the team of the movie, director Remo and actress Jacqueline, and roped in them for ‘Race 3’.

There were reports that Daisy Shah will also be a part of ‘Race 3’. Talking about being approached for the movie, the actress had said, “When ‘Jai Ho’ had released Ramesh Taurani (producer) did speak to me about the film but after that there was no talk. The talks happened in 2014 and the makers were working on the script, director was not locked.”

“I have not signed the film on dotted line (yet) but we did have verbal communication. Let’s not comment on whether I am doing the film or not as it is unethical on my part to talk about it. Producers will make the announcement,” the actress added.
