Katrina Kaif finally reveals why she walked out of Varun Dhawan’s dance film

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is busy with the shoot of her upcoming period drama ‘Bharat’ that has Salman Khan in the titular role. The actress is so devoted to the project that she even walked out of her upcoming dance film with Varun Dhawan that was being directed by Remo D’Souza.

Finally, the actress whose last two releases ‘Thugs Of Hindostan‘ and ‘Zero’ failed to leave a mark on the box-office has opened up on her decision to quit Remo’s dance drama.

In an interview to Firstpost, Katrina said, “I believe that everything comes to you what is meant to come and everything happens for the right reasons. It wasn’t possible for me to do the film because of the time constraints which they had. Also, ‘Bharat’ needs an Eid release which is in June and that is very critical for the film. Unfortunately, we couldn’t fit in the time for that one.”

She further added that since her character in ‘Bharat’ is very strong and requires all her attention, she isn’t able to concentrate on any other project.

Coming back to ‘Bharat’, the film also features Disha Patani, Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover in pivotal roles and interestingly also has a cameo by Varun Dhawan. Today the teaser of the much awaited period drama was unveiled by the makers and it has already taken the internet by storm.

‘Bharat’ will hit the screen on Eid this year.
