‘KBC 10’: Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday gift leaves him in tears

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be celebrating his 76th birthday on October 11, 2018. The ‘Shahenshah’ actor, who is currently busy hosting his much-loved show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 10’, had a pleasant surprise waiting for him on the sets of his popular quiz show. Big B, who manages to bring a smile on each and every contestant’s face with his loving and humble attitude, was left in an emotional state after receiving his birthday gift.

The megastar was made to feel special when the KBC team managed to play an audio clip where his mother Teji Bachchan was heard singing a song. It is no secret that the superstar shared a very special bond with his mother who passed away in 2007. On hearing her voice, he was left not only surprised but in tears too. Big B shared that he had never heard his mother singing.

In another video, Teji Bachchan is heard talking about fame and love she received in her life all thanks to her husband and son. She also spoke about how proud she used to feel when she was recognised as Amitabh Bachchan’s mother. She hoped that he too will get to witness a moment when people recognise him by his children’s names.

Reportedly, Amitabh Bachchan will not be celebrating his birthday this year to due to some sad events that took place in the family. His daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda lost her father-in-law Rajan Nanda and recently Shweta’s mother-in-law Ritu Nanda lost her mother Krishna Raj Nanda.

On the work front, Big B has a full diary as he is gearing for the release of ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ that also features Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles. He also has Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy.
