KBC 9 to end today, long schedules leave Big B with an infected throat

As Amitabh Bachchan is set to shoot for this year’s Kaun Banega Crorepati’s concluding episode today, he has penned an emotional note on his blog, describing the journey.

“A peculiar sadness descends upon all those that have connected with us on this seasons KBC .. including those that took part in its production and broadcast .. countless pictures are taken for keep sake, nostalgia shall rule soon and all connected shall get disconnected to get connected elsewhere ..

This will surely leave his ardent fans equally emotional. The megastar, however, has also shared that the long schedules and constant conversations on the set with the contestants have taken a toll on his vocal chord.

“The constant talking for the past month for KBC has infected my vocal chords and now with throat pain and swallowing problems, am on antibiotics and painkillers to be able to work tomorrow the entire day for the FINALE of the KBC season 9 …” he added, assuring us that the medicines were now working and he’d recover soon.
