Looks like we’ve to wait longer to see debutante Sara Ali Khan sizzling on the big screen. Her much awaited debut ‘Kedarnath’ opposite Sushant Singh Rajput might get delayed. If reports are to be believed, then Abhishek Chaubey’s film will now release in December, instead of June.
A report in Mid-Day suggests, the devastating Uttarakhand flood of 2013 will be one of the major determining factors of the film’s effectiveness. Hence, the makers want that to come out as perfect as possible. They’re planning to create a grand set in Mumbai for the same. “The makers felt that the sequence deserves a grander canvas. So, they have decided to recreate the town of Kedarnath in Mumbai. The set will be erected by February next year. Abhishek intends to wrap up the sequence by June. This has, in turn, pushed the release,” a source told Mid-Day, adding that heavy usage of VFX will be done to make the sequence enough impactful.
Something to look forward to, right?
