‘Kesari’: Akshay Kumar and his force look battle ready in this new still

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has been doling out some super hit movie with an underlying message for the betterment of the society. He will soon be seen in a historical drama depicting the role of a Sikh Soldier. The historical drama is titled ‘Kesari’ and also features Parineeti Chopra in a pivotal role.

In the movie that is being directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions, we shall see Akshay Kumar depicting a unique role. He will be seen playing the role of Havildar Ishar Singh the military commander of 21 Sikh soldiers who fought against thousands of Afghani invaders.

Today, when the country is celebrating its 70th Republic Day the makers too decided to add a little something to the occasion as a gift for fans. They shared a new still from the movie.

The final schedule of the movie was canned in Jaipur and the movie will be releasing across the nation on March 21, 2019.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar also has ‘Housefull 4’ co-starring Kriti Sanon and others. He also has ‘Good News’ with Kareena Kapoor Khan.

The actors shot for the final schedule of the film in Jaipur, Rajasthan last year. Directed by Anurag Singh, Kesari is being produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Parineeti Chopra will be seen with Arjun Kapoor again in Dibakar Banerjee’s ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’.
