Bollywood actor’s Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra will be seen sharing screen space in Karan Johar’s upcoming release ‘Kesari’. Akshay who is back on the sets of the war drama will soon fly over to Jaipur to shoot for a song with the chirpy beauty who is depicting the role of the Khiladi’s onscreen wife in the period drama. The shoot of the film will reportedly wrap up after the shoot of the romantic number.
As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, The lavishly-mounted song will be shot over a period of four days starting from next week. It is being choreographed by Vijay Ganguli.
As per reports, “Akshay has been shooting at the helipad at Filmcity, where a set was recreated after the one in Wai was gutted in a fire in April, 10 days before wrap-up. A lavishly-mounted romantic number is still left to be shot and after considering various cities, the team has finalized Jaipur for it. It will be shot over four days next week and will be choreographed by Vijay Ganguly.”
The movie that will showcase Akshay Kumar depicting the role of Havildar Ishar Singh is based on the famous Battle of Saragarhi. It is being directed by debutant Anurag Singh and co-produced by Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar, and Sunir Khetripal. The period drama will hit the screens on March 22, 2019.
The Battle of Saragarhi narrates the encounter between 21 Sikh soldiers of the British army who valiantly faced 10,000-strong troop of Afghani tribesmen in the Saragarhi outpost of the North-West Frontier Province on September 12, 1897. The army commemorates the sacrifice of the brave men every year on September 12 as Saragarhi day.
