Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is gearing for the release of his period drama ‘Kesari’ that is based on the Battle of Saragarhi that was fought in the year 1897. The Khiladi will be depicting the role of Havildar Ishar Singh in the war drama that also features Parineeti Chopra in a pivotal role.
Akshay Kumar’s look from the movie had received much appreciation from fans and friends. Today, on the occasion of Lohri, he has shared a new still from the movie that has him posing with his 21 co-stars dressed as the Sikh army men who had fought the historic battle against 10, 000 Afghans.
Sharing the still, Akshay wished his fans a Happy Lohri.

‘Kesari’ is directed by Anurag Singh and co-produced by Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar and Sunir Khetripal. The war drama will hit the screens on March 21, 2019. Akshay also has ‘Housefull 4’ and ‘Good News’ in his kitty.
