‘Kesari’ song ‘Sanu Kehndi’ teaser: Akshay Kumar asks fans to join the squad

Superstar Akshay Kumar is all set to steal the hearts of his fans once again and this time, it’s with a war drama titled ‘Kesari’. The Khiladi is depicting the role of Havildar Ishaar Singh in the movie that is based on a true story. Today, the makers are all set to unveil the first song from the much-anticipated film. Akshay Kumar has teased his fans with a short glimpse of the song on his social media handle.

The song ‘Sanu Kehndi’ features the 21 soldiers of the Sikh Battalion. In the teaser, we can see the soldiers practicing their drill at night, that is followed by some peppy beats of the song.

‘Kesari’ is based on the famous Battle Of Saragarhi that had 21 Sikh Soldiers fighting against 10, 000 Afghan tribesmen to protect the forts of Gulistan and Lockhart. Akshay’s character Ishaar will be seen leading the 21 Sikhs in the battle. The trailer and the teaser of the film has been appreciated by critics and fans. The movie also features Parineeti Chopra as Akshay Kumar’s love interest in the film. The shooting of the film wrapped up in December 2018.

‘Saragarhi Day’, is a Sikh military commemoration day, which is celebrated on 12 September every year to commemorate The Battle of Saragarhi.

‘Kesari’ is being produced by Cape of Good Film and Dharma Productions along with Azure Entertainment. It is slated to release on March 21, 2019.

Akshay Kumar has ruled 2018 with some amazing films and it seems that he is all set to do the same in 2019 too.
