KGF Chapter 2: Yash and Sanjay Dutt starrer release date might be postponed? Deets inside

Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2 is one of the much-awaited movies of this year. The posters, teaser have doubled the excitement among the fans. Prashanth Neel’s directorial is slated to release worldwide in theatres on July 16, 2021, as of now. But the latest reports suggest something else. It seems Yash’s fans have to wait a bit longer.

Trade analyst and critic, Sumit Kadel tweeted, “#KGFChapter2 could’ve a theatrical release on 9th September providing covid is under control by then & theaters reopens across India. #KGF2″.

Reports also state that the makers are in talks with Amazon Prime Video for digital rights post the theatrical release. Nothing has been confirmed yet by the makers of KGF Chapter 2.

Covid-19 third wave is inevitable and recently, AIIMS chief Dr Randeep Guleria told a news channel that it might hit the country in the next six to eight weeks. We can just wish that KGF 2 gets a smooth release.

The teaser of KGF Chapter 2 was released ahead of Yash’s birthday in January. Chapter 2 also stars Sanjay Dutt as Adheera, Raveena Tandon as Ramika Sen, and Srinidhi Shetty as Reena. The film also stars Anant Nag, Nagabharana, Prakash Raj, Malavika Avinash, Achyuth Kumar, Archana Jois, among others.

It is produced by Vijay Kiragandur and brought by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, Hombale Films and AA Films. KGF Chapter 2 will simultaneously release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
